More on those Airline Fees

Wow, some of the horror stories on airline fees and charges just keep coming to light. Check out these from more irate customers, many even from American which I will no longer board...

...and they wonder why they're losing so much money.

Looks like I am not alone...

Wow! Researching AA for this blog has truly made me wonder why I ever flew their unfriedly skies. How rude can American’s customer service agents get you may ask? Well, check out some of these complaints at Consumer Affairs- then see if you’ll board an American Airlines flight again! My guess is, American would say my issues pale in comparison to these poor customers.

Nailed by American Airlines!

Wow. Talk about getting nailed. I just found myself in the unenviable position of having to alter an airline reservation made with American Airlines but a few days ago by a day, only to get nailed with a $50 per person "change fee". Can you say... Nailed by AA. I certainly can. And since I had to alter my wife's ticket as well, you get the picture, another $100 bucks into the CEOs outrageous $5.4M salary*.

Mind you, getting to a "live" customer service representative on the line was draining enough, I think that cost me like another $100 of MY valuable time.

Needless to say, I will be avoiding American Airlines like the plague in the future.
